Alex Dreams of Hollywood

For Alexander, the purpose of art is to offer a moment of respite from the turbulence of life, "anything that takes us away from the everyday stresses of our lives, even for a moment, is a gift that we ought to cherish. I choose to paint pictures from a golden era before the world became overwhelmed by technology. It is my hope that viewers will experience a deep sense of nostalgia for a simpler time and perhaps feel inspired to asses how they might simplify their own lives."
